Chaiyo Sushi & Thai restaurant

Great food except for you never know what to expect if your food is going to be really spicy or just a little bit spicy I feel like I order it the same all the time but the taste changes even though I'm ordering the same thing. But their food is definitely amazing the sweet chili wings are wonderful and spring rolls are amazing I come here for lunch a lot the only bad thing it's Under New Management and when they first got there the service seemed to get a little slower. But still an amazing restaurant.

the best sushi i recommend the tempura crab roll it is my personal favorite.

3.5 Sushi is ok. Some rolls are better than others. Ambiance is really nice and they have a side private room for larger parties. Service was friendly but we had to keep reminding our waitress to get us basic essentials.Mochi was the worst I've ever had, felt like it had been defrosted and frozen many times. I'll probably still come back since it is nearby and the rolls are decent.

The food was pretty good and decently priced.

Always tasty lunches here. Love the bento box specials. Friendly service.

Good Thai and sushi. Good deserts, good thai iced tea, thai iced coffee was eh ok.

Takeout here is great. They're always ready when you arrive and make sure you have everything you need. On more than one occasion, I've been seated in the dining area during lunch and not been greeted for over ten minutes. For this reason, I usually only do takeout from the route 10 location.

Absolutely great food. Me and my wife we in town for 5 days and we came here 3 times. And it got better each time.Drunken noodles were amazing, and the red curry was great. Spicy tuna tempura roll was the first spicy tuna I've had that actually had some kick to it and it was fantastic.

Limited menu for Valentine's Day. Well worth the visit.

Found this place as we were on a food crawl, the first location had a 20 minute wait. So, the hostess directed us to their other location. The atmosphere was pleasant. The food was very good, we ordered 3 different entrees and 2 rolls of sushi. I would recommend this place.

The sushi was so fresh. If you only eat Chinese buffet sushi, you'll be in for a treat. 100 times better. The ambiance is cooked and laid back. With the prices you get more bang for your buck. Awesome!

Food and service were both excellent

Commercialized atmosphere. Food was good but average. If I could give the customer service and waitress a rating a 5 I would. They were wonderful. They made up most of the stars on this rating.

it's done. First time coming here was amazing. The interior suprised me when I walked in. Not what I was expecting based on the building. Great food, fast service, kinda pricey but worth it to me.

I recommend either place to everyone!! I haven't been to the Wilmington location, but am sure it's just as good.I have never had a bad meal at both locations on RT 8 and Rt 10. I've known Jeff for a few years and am happy to see him thriving and creating delicious food!!Sushi is always on point. The Thai dishes are yummy. There's always a roll special and 1-2 special entrees. They have take out, too. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean.Sometimes, some servers are not attentive - but most of them are great!If you haven't been, then go by and check it out!!

I love the second location. Much larger than the first but both are equally appetizing. I absolutely love this restaurant! It's a must eat if you're in Dover.

It was a nice experience at a new restaurant for us. Food was good. Staff was friendly. We only went one time. Haven't been again. Wasnt the spot for us.

Sounds like a wired combo, but turns out delicious! Even picky kids can find something to like on a diverse menu with delicious food.

This place does not disappoint. Their food is very different and so delicious. We always order the Tai tea (cold with cream) and its the bomb! Staff is good and the place is clean.

Surely a place worth stopping over, the food is awesome and fresh, the costs are affordable and it is always well organized here. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I am new to Thai cuisine.... but that didn't stop me from eating here twice in ONE week 😊. First on a Saturday evening and later for one of their $10 Lunch Boxes (I highly recommend) the servers & host were very pleasant, the atmosphere was impeccable. The Chef came out to chat with us, he as pleasant as he is talented.

It was my first visit. My youngest grandson chose to have his family gather here to eat and celebrate his 16th birthday. I had a great time with family and the food was beautiful and tasty.

Was very delicious glad we found this place now while we just moved here than find it later after living here a year or 2

I had the Firecracker roll, and it was amazing! Probably the best roll I've ever had! Service was amazing!!! I would definitely recommend it!

Had 2 bad points. First, the ordering “online” system had an Issue and my order was not ready when I got there. Also, when I got home, realized that the curries did not have the proteins in the curry. Didn’t get any comp for food being late either. The curry itself, spring rolls, and the crab rangoons were good. But won’t recommend doing the online service.

Love Chaiyo! Sometimes we dine in, sometimes we order online and carry out. Their lunch menu is great and affordable. 2 sushi rolls with soup and salad for $10. My first time ever having sticky rice was here and it’s so good!

It was delicious! Their lunch specials encourage healthy portion sizes and the spicy salmon roll was better than I'd anticipated.

The bang bang shrimp... make sure you ask for it please!The sushi rolls, fire per usual.. spicy tuna is my go to or even the spicy salmon.

I was highly surprised by this restaurant! I highly suggest if you are in the mood for sushi. I happened to spot this from the road and saw the reviews were positive and I am glad I stopped.I highly suggest the smoked salmon dip! The sushi roll I had was also fantastic.Would certainly eat here again!

Best sushi/Asian in Kent County DE. Although I personally feel we don't have many options to choose from. It's not the best but far from the worst. It's acceptable. Consistency lacks from time to time. Sometimes the food is amazing and sometimes it's mediocre. Don't be surprised if something is substituted in your premium sushi roll with no mention of it being substituted.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the green curry and it was just spicy enough for a good kick and some nice flavor. The service was fast and friendly. The only qualm was that the table was a little small even though it was just me and my wife. Over all a great dining experience.

Ordered online for delivery and food came over 20 minutes past the ETA. While that may or may not have been the restaurants fault, once we finally got out order, we were missing food. I called the restaurant 20 times.. (not exaggerating) and didn’t get an answer. I guess we’re just out the money? I honestly feel robbed.

Love this place! Best Thai and Sushi in the State! We go here every chance we get.

The food is delicious and our server was awesome! The oreo tempora was fantastic. My daughter and I went one hour before they closed and we never felt rushed.
